Maison et Objects 2006 highlights

This year, in last septeber, from 1 to 5, people across the world, came to Paris, to Nord Villepinte, to “breathe” the new interiors and design tendencies, to feel/see the new collections, each year more amaizing then the last ones! They had the opportunity to see whats hip fresh and new, what are the new fall-winter collections from the best designers.. You can feel in this amaizing city that little french taste in everything you see, touch and feel.. This year they have invited three important designers to their three different areas.

 

The 2006 MAISON&OBJET designer was Jean Nouvel, one of the most important people in international architecture, that has been designing furniture and objects ever since 1987, which are produced by the most well-known design brands: Zeritalia, Sawaya&Moroni, Mateo Grassi, etc…To scènes d’intérieur the star was Rosaria Rattin, that inspired by her architecture studies and her experience in fashion, turned to design by conceiving objects in touch with her naturalist and ethereal philosophy. She creates pure objects in their forms as in their materials. On Design now! 2006 Marianne Guedin was the chosen.. She designs playful vases, stamped with a genuine sculptural language. Her sources of inspiration are mist, water rings, clouds. Today, she proposes, with the collaboration of other recognized young designers, a poetic collection, that is already distributed in France, in Japan, in Italy and in the United States. So be my guest to an amazing trip throught new collections from some of the best designers that participated on Maison et Objects September 2006.

Emerging talent from the Thailand interior design scene were also invited to the event! Amongst many others, were Soawaluk Korsakwattana and Korakot Aromdee.

And at last but not least, “Messieur Jean Charles de Castelbajac” one of the big ledgends when it comes about fashion and interiors, was the invited designer by Karaochaos and obviously one of the stars.
